Yinzer Shopping Network

Pittsburgh shops were struggling during the 2020 holiday season. So I created a festive, QVC-inspired solution.

During the 2019 holiday season, I did all my gift shopping at big craft fairs or at local Pittsburgh shops but in 2020 things were different. There were no big craft fairs and everyone seemed to be doing all their shopping from a few web giants rather than small, local businesses. So I came up with an idea, inspired by QVC: The Yinzer Shopping Network!

I created a fun, cheesy and occasionally ridiculous 4-part video series that extolled the virtues of a huge range of Pittsburgh products, shops and makers. And it also included cameo appearances from Kenny the Kangaroo and a live sloth! I filmed the series in partnership with Rocketfuel Studios and Hearst Digital’s Very Local Pittsburgh.
