Let’s Be Weird Together
The longer that two people spend together, the weirder they get. We wrote a book about that.
My wife, Brooke, and I wrote Let’s Be Weird Together about the weirdness that ensues when two people begin a relationship. Our book captures that weirdness with a series of quirky illustrations, profiles of historical couples, personal comics and other humorous observations.
The book was published by Workman at the end of 2019, after which we took a month-long, national tour to promote it. Rather than doing a simple reading at every bookstore, we came up with a variety show that combined a presentation with live drawings, videos, a game show and interactive demonstrations. The book even made a couple bestseller lists.
